Joanna Whittington was appointed as a Sufficiently Independent Director to the board in December 2024. Joanna has held senior roles across the energy, transport and regulatory sectors. She is currently an independent Non‑Executive Director at SGN and the Payment Systems Regulator and serves on the boards of Powerful Women and the British Institute of Energy Economics (as Vice‑President).
