Saipem’s scope of work encompasses the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of 143 km of 28” offshore pipeline with associated landfalls and onshore outlet facilities.

Costain’s involvement with NZT Power, NEP and their partners is to oversee and manage the engineering procurement and construction of the onshore CO2 gathering system and associated utilities serving the East Coast Cluster.
Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN) and NEP are collaborating on the project’s power and communications cables. The business, which directly employs more than 500 people in the UK, has awarded sub-contracts to UK offshore specialists including Cathie Associates, EGS, and Safelane.
TechnipFMC is delivering the first all-electric subsea system for CO₂ transport and injection into an offshore aquifer for permanent storage. By using electric controls and integrated system design, the solution simplifies subsea architecture, reduces infrastructure and interfaces, and enables reliable operation over long distances - supporting efficient, scalable deployment of carbon transport and storage infrastructure.
